YOU ARE WANTED AND NEEDED HERE.
The Dameda JoLynn Enterprise exists in the Spirit of “Ubuntu”, a South African word that recognises that we are bound together by ways invisible to the eye. The belief, then, is that there is a oneness to humanity and because this is so, I cannot be free, unless you are also free. In other words, “I AM because WE are”. In ALL ways.
With this knowing, the Dameda JoLynn Enterprise aims to unify all peoples through awareness, love & compassion by shining a light on that which makes each of us individually human and that inspires the questions, “What is the work that we’ve come to Earth to do to evolve into our authentic, whole selves and that assists in evolving the consciousness of humanity?” And how can we—individually & collectively—leverage this knowing to assist in creating an embodied anti-oppressive society?
Through a spectrum of ideas that uplift, educate, liberate, & empower, the Dameda JoLynn Enterprise inspires individuals to expose hidden truths inside of implicit biases and to uproot old beliefs that creates space to embody new truths.
I believe that as we exist inside of practices that inspire self-love and self-discovery, in collaboration and in conscious & purposeful action, we can bloom, in the Spirit of UBUNTU.

Why the “work” is important:
If the focus is to create an anti-oppressive society, we must be willing to know ourselves more intimately and to understand our complicit roles in the oppressive systems of society. Stretching beyond this discomfort, expands our awareness and deepens the connection to ourselves and to one another that gives space to celebrate and honor our differences. In the honoring of our differences—and similarities—we are strengthened as a collective and from that place, we raise our consciousness that, inevitably, allows us to create a world that is just and equitable for all peoples.
My vision behind it:
To create an anti-oppressive society that is inspired by the Spirit of UBUNTU that liberates ALL peoples.
Who’s the “work is for:
This is a space for Black, Brown, and white bodies, however the approach for each group of bodies is different. Different, in that, the focus for Black and Brown bodies is to provide a healing space where belonging and a strong sense of worth is centered. For white bodies, the focus is on creating a space of courage, where the truth about white supremacist ideology and white privilege is confronted and uprooted from the body. Although the approaches are different, every BODY is met with the same compassion, truth, and love with the intention to elevate human consciousness that contributes to the betterment and liberation of ALL of humanity.

I practice standing with grace in the full essence of who I am and am secure in the knowing that my sole purpose on this Earth is to foster expansion through connected love & awareness that validates ALL are seen, heard, and belong, and to inspire others to create & live full, joyful, dope ass lives.
And so it is.
And so I am.

Meet Dameda
HOLISTIC ACTIVIST & COMMUNITY FACILITATOR
I am the co-creator of The Empower Black Project, which tells the story of my journey of loving myself back as a Black woman in America & that seeks to uplift the spirits of Black bodies while inspiring Black bodies to love themselves from the inside out through self-discovery and healing (I say Co-Creator because it is of my belief that we create all things with All that Is, Infinite Consciousness, The Divine, Higher Power, etc).
I also co-created the Dameda JoLynn Enterprise that supports my commitment to assisting in the creation of an embodied anti-racist/anti-oppressive society. With that purpose, I am equally committed to uplifting, educating & empowering white bodies in search of intimate conversations that lead to conscious and skillful action with the intention to dismantle systemic racism and reimagine & create new systems that liberate ALL bodies.
I immerse myself in healing & antiracism work like I wear my beautiful Black skin—with pride & purpose—creating compassionate spaces that imbue hope for change and uncloak inner truths that transform.
I am on purpose in every way and understand that by arriving in my power—in my true essence as a Phenomenally Black woman—I not only inspire others to stand proud & firmly in who we came to this Earth to be, but on a bigger scale, I assist in the raising of consciousness of all of humanity.
